Several prop firms let you start an evaluation for $0–$5 and pay the full fee only after you pass. On 2026-10-01: Atlas Funded offers $1 Access and Free Access ($0). Both have a 3% target and a 7% trailing max loss, and you pay $554 for $100K after passing. Goat Funded Trader offers Pay Later for $5, with a 3% target from 5 Sep 2026. BrightFunded offers a Free $1K Challenge. These models have tighter funded rules, such as trailing drawdown, consistency rules and per-trade caps, so read them before you start.

Is Pay-After-Pass Cheaper?
Only if you pass at a low rate. Atlas's $100K Access fee after passing ($554) is more than its normal 2 Step price ($443), but you lose nothing if you fail. If you expect to fail several times, pay-later can still save money.
Watch Out For
- Funded rules get tighter. GFT Pay Later drops from an 8% to a 6% trailing max loss when funded. Atlas Access drops from 5% to 3% daily.
- Deadline to pay. GFT gives you 30 days after the activation link. After that the account expires.
- Evaluation profit can't pay the fee. GFT says this explicitly.
- Resets. Atlas Access resets cost $221.60 on $100K, and you must buy within 72 hours of a breach.
