BrightFunded Rules 2026: 1-Step, 2-Step Bright and 2-Step Classic — cover image

BrightFunded runs three current evaluation plans, and the rules differ a lot between them. The 1-Step needs a 10% target with a 3% daily loss and a 6% trailing maximum loss. The 2-Step Bright needs 8% then 5% with 4% daily / 8% static. The 2-Step Classic needs 10% then 5% with 5% daily / 10% static. All three have no time limit and no consistency rule. Each evaluation phase needs a 5-day minimum unless you buy the add-on that removes it. Funded payouts start at an 80% split.

How the Drawdowns Work

  • Daily loss uses an end-of-day high-water mark. At rollover (23:30–23:59 CET) BrightFunded records the higher of balance or equity. The next day's floor is that value minus your fixed daily allowance. You cannot trade during the rollover window.
  • Static max loss (2-Step plans) never moves. On a $100K Classic account the floor stays at $90,000 from Phase 1 through funded.
  • Trailing max loss (1-Step) follows your highest equity until you are up 6%, then locks at your starting balance. On $100K the floor starts at $94,000 and locks at $100,000 once equity reaches $106,000.

Funded-Stage Rules

Item Rule
Profit split 80% → 90% after 1st scale-up → 100% from 3rd scale-up
First payout 30 days after your first funded trade
Payout cycle Every 14 days (weekly is a paid add-on)
Processing Within 24 hours of request; USDC (ERC-20) or EUR bank transfer
News Funded accounts: no trades opened 5 minutes either side of major news (profits from those trades are removed)
Evaluation reward 15% of evaluation profit credited after 10% funded growth and a payout request
Capital cap $400K total funded per trader

Scaling Plan

Each funded account is reviewed over four months. To scale you need profit in at least 2 of the 4 months, at least 10% total profit, at least 2 payouts, and a balance at or above break-even. Each scale-up adds 30% of the original size.

Prohibited Strategies

Hedging across accounts or firms, copy trading between different people, HFT/tick scalping, grid and arbitrage, exploiting feed delays and "risk-abusive" over-leverage are all banned. Hedging inside one account, standard EAs, VPN/VPS (sole user), overnight and weekend holding are allowed.

BrightFunded Rules: Your Questions Answered

Does BrightFunded have a consistency rule?

No. None of the three current plans uses a consistency rule.

Is BrightFunded drawdown static or trailing?

Both 2-Step plans use a static maximum loss. The 1-Step uses a 6% trailing maximum loss that locks at your starting balance once you are up 6%.

How many days do I need to pass BrightFunded?

At least 5 trading days in each evaluation phase, so 10 days for the 2-Step plans and 5 for the 1-Step, unless you buy the "No Minimum Trading Days" add-on.

Can I trade news at BrightFunded?

Yes during evaluation. On funded accounts, trades opened within 5 minutes before or after major news have their profit removed.
