ZuluTrade Review 2026: Copy Trading Platform, Costs, Risks — cover image

ZuluTrade is a copy-trading platform, not a broker. Its terms describe Zulu Trade Ltd as a technology provider. It connects to your account at a partner broker and copies trades from third-party signal providers into it. ZuluTrade says it does not hold client money (apart from its own fees), is not your counterparty and doesn't set leverage or spreads. Your broker does all of that. There are two pricing models. A Classic account, where ZuluTrade is paid through the spread or broker costs. A Profit Sharing account, where you pay a monthly subscription fee plus a monthly performance fee on each provider's profits above a high-water mark.

How ZuluTrade Works

  1. Open an account with a broker that supports ZuluTrade, then connect it to the ZuluTrade platform.
  2. Browse signal providers and their stats, then pick one or more.
  3. Set limits for each provider: lot size, maximum open trades, stop levels.
  4. Trades are copied automatically. You can also place your own manual trades through the platform.

ZuluTrade's terms say signal providers are not related to ZuluTrade and "do not have any professional certifications". Some providers trade demo accounts, which the platform flags on their profile.

Fees

Account How ZuluTrade is paid
Classic Built into the spread or other broker trading costs
Profit Sharing Fixed monthly subscription fee plus a % performance fee per provider, charged only on profit above the provider's previous high ("benchmark")

Fee amounts are published on ZuluTrade's site and can change. Subscription payments are non-refundable.

Refund Policy for Platform Errors

ZuluTrade refunds losses caused by platform errors, meaning a signal it should have rejected or accepted under your settings. You must notify it within 24 hours. It does not refund losses caused by signal providers or brokers, or lost profits.

Risks to Weigh

  • Your results will differ from the provider's because of slippage, delays and different broker conditions
  • Provider rankings are based on past performance, not on suitability for you
  • Protections depend entirely on your broker's regulation, so check that first (legit broker checklist)

Alternatives We Cover

Broker-native copy trading keeps everything in one account: VT Markets copy trading (from USD 10 per provider) and Vantage copy trading. See also best copy trading platforms.
