VT Markets Copy Trading: How It Works and What It Costs
VT Markets copy trading in the app: start from USD 10 per provider, three copy modes, profit share up to 50% for providers, and the risks to manage.

VT Markets copy trading runs inside the VT Markets App (and on desktop). You choose a signal provider, set how much to allocate, and their trades are copied in proportion to your allocation. VT Markets says you can start from USD 10 per provider where the provider allows it, with a USD 50 copy-account deposit. There are three copy modes, and you can stop at any time. Providers can earn up to 50% profit share, taken only from copiers' profits. Copying doesn't remove market risk, and past results don't predict future ones.

How Copying Works
Copying is proportional. If a provider risks 2% of their account on a EURUSD buy, your account opens a EURUSD buy using 2% of the money you allocated to them. Your entry price can differ slightly because of spread, latency and slippage, especially around news.
Choosing a Provider
Each provider profile shows past performance, a monthly risk band, the profit-share ratio and the instruments they trade. Look at:
- Maximum drawdown, not just return
- How long they have been trading. A few weeks proves very little
- Profit-share rate. A 50% share halves your net gains
- Whether their style stays consistent. A swing trader who suddenly starts scalping at high leverage is a warning sign
Managing Risk
- Spread your money across several providers instead of one
- Set a stop-copy or stop-loss limit for each provider
- Review results every week. Copy trading is not "set and forget"
Becoming a Provider
If you trade well, you can switch to being a provider in the app (Trade → Manage) and earn a share of your copiers' profits. Profit-share changes only apply to new copiers.
