VT Markets has two core live accounts: Standard STP and RAW ECN. STP is commission-free, with spreads from 1.2 pips. RAW ECN has spreads from 0.0 pips plus a $6 round-turn commission per lot. Both pages list a $100 minimum deposit, leverage up to 500:1, MT4 and MT5, and a 0.01-lot minimum trade size. Each account also comes in a swap-free version, and there is a cent account on MT5 for very small live trades.

Note one inconsistency: the STP page's specification box says spreads from 1.2 pips, but its own FAQ says from 1.4 pips. Treat both as minimums, not averages.
Which One Costs Less?
On ECN you pay about $3 per side for each standard lot, on top of the raw spread. On STP the cost is built into a wider spread. A rough rule of thumb: if the STP spread on your pair is more than about 0.6 pips wider than the ECN spread, ECN is cheaper per lot. Check this on a demo for your pairs and trading hours. Gold and indices often behave differently from EURUSD.
Swap-Free and Cent Versions
- Swap-free: available for both STP and ECN, with the same spreads and commission. An admin fee may be charged instead of swap. VT Markets says swap-free with zero admin fee is only offered in certain regions. Detail: VT Markets swap-free account.
- Cent: an MT5 account with the balance shown in US cents. It comes in STP and ECN versions (each also swap-free) and is limited to forex, gold, silver and oil. Detail: VT Markets cent account.
How to Choose
- New or trading small size: Standard STP or the cent account. One price, no commission to calculate.
- Scalping or high volume: RAW ECN, if your demo test shows lower all-in cost.
- Holding trades for weeks: compare swap against the swap-free admin fee.
