VT Markets is a multi-entity forex and CFD broker with two main live accounts: Standard STP (spreads from 1.2 pips, no commission) and RAW ECN (spreads from 0.0 pips plus $6 round-turn per lot). Both account pages list a $100 minimum deposit and leverage up to 500:1. You can trade on MT4, MT5, WebTrader or the VT Markets App, which includes copy trading. The main thing to check is regulation. Global clients trade with VT Markets Limited, licensed by the FSC Mauritius (an offshore regulator). The FCA (UK) has a warning page about vtmarkets.com, and the broker is on alert lists in India and Malaysia.

Which Entity Holds Your Account
This matters more than the spread table. VT Markets lists several companies, but only one of them is licensed to deal with global retail clients:
- VT Markets Limited (Mauritius) holds a Full-Service Investment Dealer licence from the FSC. Global clients trade with this company.
- VT Markets (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) is an FSCA-authorised financial services provider, but VT Markets says it acts only as an intermediary under the FAIS Act. The product supplier is VT Markets Limited.
- The Dubai branch holds a UAE CMA Category 5 licence for introduction and promotion only. VT Markets says it is not authorised to provide brokerage services or execute trades.
- VTMarkets Ltd (Cyprus, HE436466) provides services for other licensed entities in the group. This is not a trading licence.
So, for most readers, the protection you get is FSC Mauritius oversight. That is offshore regulation, not the same as FCA, ASIC or CySEC rules. Full detail: Is VT Markets safe?
Regulator Warnings to Check First
- United Kingdom: the FCA warning page says "VT Markets /
www.vtmarkets.com" is not authorised and may be targeting people in the UK. - India: VT Markets (vtmarkets.com) is on the RBI Alert List of unauthorised forex platforms. VT Markets also says it does not serve Indian residents.
- Malaysia: the Securities Commission Malaysia added "VT Markets" to its Investor Alert List on 26 August 2021.

Accounts and Costs
The model is simple. You pay either through the spread (STP) or through a raw spread plus commission (ECN):
- Standard STP: spreads from 1.2 pips, $0 commission, $100 minimum, MT4/MT5.
- RAW ECN: spreads from 0.0 pips, $6 per lot round turn on most symbols, $100 minimum, MT4/MT5.
Both have a swap-free version (an admin fee may apply instead of swap). There is also a cent account on MT5 for small live positions. "From" spreads are minimums, not averages. Compare costs on a demo during the hours you actually trade. Detail: VT Markets account types.
Deposits and Withdrawals
VT Markets says most digital deposits arrive within 30–60 minutes. Withdrawals are processed in 1–3 business days and can take up to 7 business days to arrive. Money goes back through the method you deposited with. The first bank-wire withdrawal each month is free. Further wires cost USD 20 each, and Skrill (1%) and Neteller (2%) carry provider fees.
