Forex No Deposit Bonus: What Brokers Actually Offer — cover image

A genuine no-deposit bonus is rare, and among the brokers we cover we found none live on their official pages. Vantage, PU Prime, HFM and JustMarkets currently run deposit-based promotions or trading contests, not free credit for registering. Offers like "$30 no deposit bonus" or "$500 no deposit bonus" that you see in search ads and Telegram groups usually come from older campaigns (such as JustForex's former $30 offer), from brokers with weak or no regulation, or from scams. Where a real no-deposit bonus does exist, the credit itself is normally not withdrawable. Only profits that meet a trading-volume condition can be withdrawn.

How No-Deposit Bonuses Usually Work

When a broker does offer one, the terms usually look like this:

  • Credit, not cash. You get trading credit, often $10–$50. You can't withdraw the credit itself.
  • Profit cap. Withdrawable profit is often capped at a fixed amount.
  • Volume requirement. You must trade a set number of lots before profits unlock.
  • Short expiry. Typically 30–60 days.
  • One per person / household / IP, with full identity verification required before any withdrawal.

At high leverage, a $30 credit lets you open positions large enough to wipe the balance in a single move. The bonus mostly helps the broker acquire clients. For you, it's a costly way to learn the platform compared with a free demo account.

Why Regulated Brokers Rarely Offer Them

EU (ESMA) and UK (FCA) rules ban bonuses for retail CFD clients. Australia's ASIC is similarly strict. As a result, any bonus you see comes from a broker's offshore entity, which means lighter regulation and no compensation scheme. That trade-off should be part of your decision.

Red Flags

  • A "bonus" offered by an "account manager" on WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • Being asked to pay a "verification fee" or "tax" to release a bonus or profits.
  • Guaranteed returns, or a bonus large relative to the deposit (for example "$500 free").
  • A broker that doesn't appear on any regulator register you can check.

A Better Way to Start Small

If what you really want is to start with little money, a cent account or a low minimum deposit usually does more for you than a capped bonus. JustMarkets, Exness and HFM all offer low-entry or cent accounts, and every broker offers a free demo. See our welcome bonus comparison for deposit-based offers, and check your local regulator first: in Malaysia and India, several brokers that market bonuses appear on regulator alert lists.

Can I withdraw a no-deposit bonus?
