Exness supports MetaTrader 5 on desktop, mobile and web, as well as MT4, its own Exness Terminal (browser) and the Exness Trade app. To use MT5, create an MT5 trading account in your Exness Personal Area, note the account number and server name shown there, then log in to MT5 with your trading password. All four account types (Standard, Pro, Zero, Raw Spread) are offered on MT5. Exness Terminal works with any account type that MT5 supports.

Set Up MT5 With Exness
- In the Personal Area, choose Open new account → MT5 and pick the account type, leverage and currency.
- Set the trading password. The account number and server (e.g. "Exness-MT5Real…") appear next to the account.
- Download MT5 from Exness's platform page or the official MetaQuotes source (see MT5 download).
- In MT5: File → Login to Trade Account, then enter the number, password and exact server.

MT5 vs Exness Terminal vs Exness Trade
- MT5: use it if you run Expert Advisors, backtest, or need custom indicators.
- Exness Terminal: use it for quick browser trading without installing anything.
