JustMarkets Malaysia: Is It Licensed by the SC?
JustMarkets is on the Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List. What that means for Malaysian traders, which entities JustMarkets lists, and what.

JustMarkets is not licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), and the SC lists it on its Investor Alert List. The entry names "JustMarkets", gives the reason as "carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities", and lists justmarkets.com, justmarketsmy.com, justmarkets.pro, the JustMarkets apps and official social channels. IOSCO's I-SCAN alert network republished the warning on 2026-08-28. JustMarkets does hold licences in other countries, but none of them is a Malaysian licence. For a Malaysian resident, that means no local regulator oversees the account and no local complaint route exists.
What the SC Listing Says
| Item | What the public record shows (checked 2026-10-01) |
|---|---|
| Register | Securities Commission Malaysia, Investor Alert List |
| Name listed | JustMarkets |
| Reason given | Carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities |
| Websites/apps listed | justmarketsmy.com, justmarkets.com, justmarkets.pro, iOS and Google Play apps, official Facebook and Telegram |
| IOSCO I-SCAN | Warning ID 56228, published 2026-08-28 |
The SC's list also contains separate entries for Telegram channels that use JustMarkets-style names, some flagged as possible clones running investment scams. Being on the alert list does not by itself mean the broker is a scam. It does mean the SC says JustMarkets is dealing with Malaysian investors without the SC licence that this activity requires.

Which Licences Does JustMarkets Hold?
JustMarkets says it operates through these entities:
| Entity | Regulator | Licence |
|---|---|---|
| Just Global Markets Ltd | Seychelles FSA | SD088 |
| Just Global Markets (MU) Limited | Mauritius FSC | GB22200881 |
| Just Global Markets (VG) Limited | British Virgin Islands FSC | SIBA/L/24/1177 |
| Just Global Markets (PTY) Ltd | South Africa FSCA | FSP 51114 |
| JustMarkets Ltd | Cyprus CySEC | 401/21 (EU clients via justmarkets.eu) |
None of these is a Malaysian licence. A Malaysian client would normally be onboarded by an offshore entity, not the CySEC company. EU investor protections therefore wouldn't apply, and you would have to take any dispute to the offshore regulator.
What This Means If You're in Malaysia
- No SC oversight: the SC says it can't protect investors who deal with unlicensed entities, and that it can't help recover funds from them.
- Local payment methods don't mean a local licence: a broker can offer MYR accounts and Malaysian bank transfers without being authorised in Malaysia. JustMarkets lists MYR as an account currency.
- Clone risk: scammers copy well-known broker names on Telegram and WhatsApp. The SC list contains several such channels.
If You Already Have a JustMarkets Account
- Check the legal entity named in your client agreement in the Personal Area.
- Keep copies of your deposit and withdrawal records and your account statements.
- Only use the official website or app you installed yourself. Never move money through a "manager" or "mentor" who contacts you on chat apps.
- Think about how much of your balance you want to keep with a provider that isn't authorised where you live.
Check for Yourself
Search "JustMarkets" on the SC Investor Alert List (sc.com.my/investor-alert-list) and use the SC Investor Checker to see whether a firm is authorised. Registers change, so check again before you send money anywhere. For the broker's costs and account structure outside Malaysia, see our JustMarkets review. For other brokers, compare HFM in Malaysia and Vantage in Malaysia, and run the same SC register check on each of them.
