Who Holds Your Account

Valetax uses Valetax International Limited (FSC Mauritius, GB21026312) or Valetax Global Limited (SVG registration only). JustMarkets has a broader set: FSA Seychelles, FSC Mauritius, BVI FSC and a CySEC entity for European clients. If you live in the EU, JustMarkets can onboard you with an EU-regulated company; Valetax cannot. Outside the EU, both would usually place you with an offshore entity. Detail: Is Valetax safe?

Malaysia: Both Are Flagged

Readers in Malaysia should note that the SC Malaysia Investor Alert List names both brands: JustMarkets (justmarkets.com, justmarketsmy.com and its apps) since 2024, and Valetax (valetax.com, valetaxintl.com and its social channels). Neither is a lawful choice for Malaysian residents. Valetax is also on the Thai SEC list from 25 May 2026. See forex brokers in Malaysia.

Account Line-Up

JustMarkets keeps four accounts: Standard Cent and Standard from $10, Pro and Raw Spread from $200, with Raw Spread charging $3 per side. Valetax starts lower at $8 and reaches raw pricing for less: its ECN account is $50 with a $4 commission. JustMarkets' Standard spread starts at 0.3 pips against Valetax's 1.2 pips, so on paper JustMarkets is cheaper on the commission-free account.

Leverage and Swaps

JustMarkets advertises up to 1:3000 on eligible entities; Valetax tops out at 1:2000 and cuts it as equity grows (1:1000 from $5,000 on Standard) and around news. On swaps, Valetax lists none on any account, while JustMarkets offers swap-free treatment on request and by eligibility. Detail: Valetax leverage.

Small-Account Testing

Both have cent accounts. Valetax's Cent uses 1,000-unit lots, 32 instruments and up to 1:1000 from $8. Detail: Valetax cent account and best cent account brokers.

Which One Should You Pick?

  • Pick Valetax for the lowest entry, a $50 ECN account and no swaps on long holds.
  • Pick JustMarkets for a tighter commission-free spread, higher maximum leverage, or an EU (CySEC) entity.
  • Skip both if you are in Malaysia; skip Valetax if you are in Thailand or scalp trades under 30 seconds.
